Basement: Due to the high groundwater level and humidity, the walls and floors need to be fully waterproofed, using a combination of waterproofing membranes and coatings, and even a waterproof mortar layer to prevent groundwater infiltration.
Back of wardrobe/storage cabinet: On the wall in contact with the wardrobe, moisture-proof coating (belonging to the general waterproof substrate) can be applied to prevent moisture from penetrating into the cabinet, causing clothes to mold and board deformation.
Floating window countertop: The floating window countertop (especially near the window) needs to be covered with materials with good waterproof performance (such as stone, waterproof board), and waterproof glue should be applied at the joint between the countertop and the wall to prevent rainwater from seeping into the window gap and damaging the countertop and underlying structure.
